Brooklyn Vega, now age 17, has been singing from a very young age.  Her family, especially her mom and dad, are great supporters of her gift.  She believes she received the gift from her mom who was a singer but just never pursued it professionally.  She has been accepted into the American Music Dramatic Art School in New York, starting in the fall of 2023.  She plans to major in Musical Theater (acting, dancing, and singing).  Her dream is to one day be on Broadway and also to pursue acting in movies and TV shows.  Her journey of sharing First Place with Romario Hayden in the HGT! Summer Youth Competition and now being a part of the HGT! Finals at the Bushnell has made her realize that singing and being in the world of entertainment is what she wants to do with her life.
