Debbie Gurrieri-Maloney is a gifted flutist that has performed with a variety of Classic Rock/Pop/Jazz/Classical Musicians within the Hartford Area for many years. Debbie was influenced by her father, who was a talented jazz musician. He played his saxophone, clarinet and flute often at home and with local Jazz Bands.In High School, Debbie studied with Stanley Aaronson, Principal Flutist of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. After Graduating High School, she attended The Hartford Conservatory of Music and Dance and studied flute performance with Mary Ellen Jacobs. Debbie was destined not only to be a Professional Musician, she also loved working with children and decided to become a Music Teacher. She became a Public School Music Educator and enjoys teaching General and Instrumental Music to children in the New Haven Area.

Her musical influences allow her to cross genres performing a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Musical Theater, Blues, Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Folk, Country, Pop and Rock. During the Fall of 2023, Debbie participated in Berlin’s Talent Competition placing 4th and Hartford’s Got Talent placing in the top 20 out of over 250 performers. Debbie enjoys and looks forward to any opportunity to share her talent and love of music!
