ROYAL LEGACY DANCE TEAM was created to give young dancers a space to grow, express themselves, and find confidence through movement. Founded and directed by Shani Rodriguez under Creative Visions, the team started as a recreational program and naturally evolved into a competitive group with heart, drive, and ambition.

HGT! is Royal Legacy’s first official audition and competition experience, and becoming a finalist has already been such an exciting accomplishment. The dancers are thrilled for the opportunity to perform at the finale and hope to leave their mark.

They train in hip-hop, Latin fusion, salsa, and bachata, and regularly work with guest instructors to explore other styles and stay inspired. Each dancer brings their own energy, background, and curiosity—and while some are newer to the dance world, they all share a deep appreciation for culture, creativity, and community!

Upcoming projects include a performance in Boston this August and a salsa event in Bridgeport this November, with more in the works. Royal Legacy is more than a team—it’s a movement of young artists ready to make a statement and build something meaningful together.
